There’s no denying it now – summer is in full swing and the sun seems to be beating down on us like we stole something.

Hot enough for ya’?
And with the summer only getting hotter, your last chance to get your air conditioner up to par is passing you buy. So, for those of you who are still looking or just getting ready to call us, we’ve come up with a few things to keep in mind.
Air Ducts – just like any other part of your home, your air ducts should be cleaned. Over time, dust, debris, germs, and even rodents can build up, making the air traveling through them dirtier than we’d like to think about. Dirty air ducts are simply a health risk for you and your family, so make sure to get them cleaned regularly.
Air Conditioner Units – Just like the computer you’re using to read this blog, your air conditioning unit needs maintenance. There are parts that wear out, break, or simply need a good cleaning. Without regular maintenance, the main part of your entire system will become less efficient, making it have to work harder and harder to keep your home cool. The last thing anyone wants is a higher utility bill.
Air Purifiers – Make the next step in making sure your home is safe for you and your family by having an air purifier installed. Air purifiers can eliminate nearly every harmful thing in the air, helping keep your family healthier.
Insulation – Something you might not have thought about, huh? Well, the truth is having a well insulated home can help keep your cooling bills down, since it will help keep cool air in. If you feel your home isn’t properly insulated, than now would be a perfect time to give us a call.

By keeping these things in mind, you can plan accordingly to ensure that you get everything you need for your air conditioning system.

Okay, I know that it’s just the beginning of summer, but that doesn’t mean you don’t need to think about preparing for the cold and flu season! I know, it sounds a bit out of the blue, but here’s an interesting bit of information for you: The EPA ran a study that showed the air quality in the average home is up to five (5) times dirtier than the air outside. Makes you think, doesn’t it? So, does that mean that the air in your home is just as bad as or worse than the air in LA? Probably.

Healthy living at its finest
Luckily, there is a pretty easy way for improving the indoor air quality of your home. But, before I get into that, let me paint a little picture for you.
Say it’s getting closer to cold and flu season, and you, like so many other people in America, start to feel a bit under the weather. It could be a simple case of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), which basically means you get depressed when the weather gets cold, or it could be that the cold has compromised your immune system enough for the poor air quality in your home to get you sick. It happens more than you may think. Now, you can spend the cold half of the year feeling like crap, or you can do something about it. Here’s where that easy way to fix it all comes in.
Have clean air ducts. Yes, your house has air ducts, just like all the buildings in those blockbuster action films everyone’s seen, only yours are too small for you to play spy in.

Doesn’t actually work that way
Over time, and especially with use, dust and debris start to build up. But they’re not the only things; mold, insects, and even rodents tend to inhabit these tiny passageways, allowing your central air and heat system to spread their filth around your house like they owns the place. Needless to say, this can have a largely negative impact on your health.
By getting your air ducts cleaned and your air conditioning maintenanced regularly, say once or twice a year, you can do your part to help ensure that it’s healthier for you to breathe inside instead of outside. Now, I know that summer has just gotten here, and it may seem a little soon to be gearing up for the winter, but that doesn’t mean it’s too early to start planning for it. Keep it in mind, because it’s better to have it all said, done, and out of the way before the cold seasons get here.

Now that spring is in full swing and summer is around the corner, it’s an excellent time to invest in Temecula air duct cleaning and attic insulation to ensure the cleanest and most efficient cooling system possible during the hotter months. WC Air Conditioning and Heating is making it easier for their Temecula air conditioning customers to get these important services with some sizzling deals. Customers will be rewarded with 10 percent off their first service, and to sweeten the deal there is a 15 cent per square foot rebate on attic insulation. There is also as much as a 30 percent stimulus through the Federal Tax Credit.

This Temecula heating and air conditioning company can perform top notch air duct services with their own unique self contained method that brushes and vacuums up debris. The brushing action loosens the dirt, and the vacuuming action sweeps up the dirt and whisks it away. The steps of the Temecula air duct cleaning service are as follows:
1. Remove and clean registers
2. Clean supply vents from the base to the air handler
3. Brush, collect and sweep up dirt and debris
4. Overlap much of the ductwork to ensure optimal coverage
5. Topically clean within the air handler using a vacuum attachment
6. Turn on air handler fan and fog antimicrobial treatment into the cold air return
7. Circulate treatment into the system using fan
Temecula heating and air conditioning customers will also greatly appreciate attic insulation services for the benefits they provide in terms of energy efficiency. Approximately 50 to 70 percent of the energy used in the average American home is for heating and cooling, which is particularly important in a place like Temecula that gets desert heats in the summers. Blown attic insulation services ensure a uniform temperature throughout the home and a more comfortable temperature without using excessive energy. With properly installed insulation, homeowners can greatly reduce their Temecula air conditioning costs by creating a low conductive, heat-flow resistant barrier that eliminates heat convection.
Now is the ideal time to consider air duct cleaning and attic insulation to increase the comfort, safety and energy efficiency of your Temecula home at an affordable cost.
